Have you considered Christian Orthodoxy? We're told to go to an Anglican or Episcopalian church if we can't find an Orthodox one, so I'm uming our churches are the closest. I'm Greek Orthodox, but there is the non-ethnic Orthodox Church in America. Our priests marry if they're content to stay at that rank. Only single priests can be bishop or above, the thinking being that the added responsibilities would mean their families would get neglected.

Sounds like you have a few bulging disks. Nothing that would indicate MS. I have MS. I've had two MRI's over the years both were done on brain, cervical AND thoracic, WITH contrast. Even new piercings take a while to close up. I can only suggest that you take out the ring and see if the hives clear up. If not you can go see your doctor. Worst case scenario is that your piercing closes up and you have to spend another $40 getting it re-pierced and putting a ring of a different kind in (by kind I mean material). The prelude and fugue is good, as is the Chopin. The Moonlight sonata could be good, if you make sure that the third movement is in top shape, since that is the most challenging movement from a technical point of view (the faculty may ask to hear it just for that). I would suggest that over the Haydn, but if you have time I might even suggest looking at a different Beethoven sonata, since many of Beethoven's sonatas are more substantial than the sonatas by Haydn and Mozart -- ask your teacher what he/she would suggest. As for the contemporary piece, I would call or email to ask for specifications, if it's not on the website -- often the colleges say after what year the piece must have been composed for it to count as "contemporary," and I know that sometimes anything in the 20th century counts. I would advise against Corea or Joplin, since these composers wrote in a different style than the faculty will be looking for. Depending on what the answer is about the year, I would suggest Prokofiev, Bartok, Ginastera or possibly even Ravel. Also see the list that was posted in the other comment. Hey I am 24 years old and I am trying to shed some pounds to get a decent six pack. Let me start by saying that I am not overweight and I workout just about ever day. I was an athlete in college and high school and I am not looking for advice on exercise of lifting. Could this be a Pico?

I have found a small painting on what appears to be paper. It is signed pico in red and underlined. I've located this painting in an old antique store in north texas. It has a very interesting frame and has the tag of a art store called Attic Arts in Oklahoma City on the back. It is says the artist is Pico and the painting is titled Artist At Work. I purchased a book on Pico's work and to my amazement found not the same painting but the same man in the painting turned in the opposite direction. The painting from the catalog was done in 1965 and the store in Oklahoma no longer exist. The painting at the antique store is water damaged and the owner said she bought it from her neighbors estate after she ped and that it was water damaged at her home from a roof leak. I asked if she thought it could potentially bed a real Pico and she said she had no idea. The painting appears to be on paper but when you look at it through a magnifier glass you can see little dots similar to how a canvas looks. Whoever painted definitely painted in one of picasso's styles. Any ideas?

As she did she found five more that looked exactly the same as the first. We put them in a plastic cotainer with holes in the lid and leaves for them to munch on. Okay, I was wondering if you guys have ever used an one of those online ovulation calculators and found them to be accurate? The reason why I'm asking is because I'm almost 95% sure I'm ovulating right now. My LMP was 3/30/2009. It was 9 days late. It's a 32-day cycle. Anyways, according to all of these calculators, it's forecasting me to OV on 4/17/09 with a fertility window of 4/15/09 - 4/20/09. TMI COMING!! Well, yesterday, I spotted some brown discharge on my underwear. I tested CM and it was very scant. Earlier today, I noticed some more brown discharge and had some mild pain in the lower abdomen but it was sort of on both sides so I don't know. Anyways, tonight I tested for CM and got a TON. It was very clear, semi-thin, and stretchy. That, plus the brown discharge and the mild cramping leads me to believe I'm ovulating now. I don't chart or anything. But all of this is making me very weary about trusting these online calculators. Me and hubby BD'd last night and Friday night. 3 month old sudden night wakings...?

I heard someone say that brushing your teeth in the shower is a good way to conserve water use. I would think that it would be about the same, if not more. Why do people fret so much about doomsday?

No one knows for sure what exactly the future holds in store for us. It is certain that things will happen. Bad things will happen Good things will happen. I do find it compelling what some indigenous cultures had to say about a future point in time when humanity would experience changes. Not necessarily the Mayans, they really never said the world would end, they just concluded their calendar. But other civilizations such as the Hopi Indians had predictions that were very compelling. They spoke of "The Great Purification" and that the earth would cleanse itself. Also Mother Shipton, Baba Vanga , Edgar Cayce, Father Malachy, Maria Espranza, and a host of others made futuer predictions for a time that is seemingly similar to now when mankind would experience drastic changes. I really cannot say for sure any of them are correct but you have to marvel at the coincidence of them all saying almost the same things. I guess we will all see soon enough.

Should a Son disrespect his Dad and family over a social website and insist he sees his grandaughter?

My son recently and continually places harsh rude abusive messages on a social website about his friends and Family , Mainly directed at his Dad (me) and his Sister, quick outline , his mum and I separated some 18 years ago now ive re married and have 2 step children , my son is 22 and has a girlfriend 23 and my granddaughter nearly 2 , my son has had a chip on his shoulder for a number of years now and is fore ever falling out with members of the whole family but mainly me and now his sister you see he complains on the websites and via text that we never go to see him or make any contact with him he says we never ask about his daughter and that were not interested this is his normal pattern , in truth we do bother and contact and see when we can both myself and his sister work full time and I myself have 2 younger children that I see every 2 weeks or so 13,and 12 there ages boys so when I pick them up I often arrange to carry on and see there brother in the same day but he often cancels saying his girlfriend wants to go out as shes worked all week , in six years of me being re married he has never once made his own way to my house to see us I have always picked him up and taken him back 45 min journey each time , the final straw was when he called me some fairly nasty names on the website and threaten to tell secrets??? , I really have no gripe with my son but I cannot continue to allow him to destroy me or his sister in this way out of the 6 children in my life he is the only one who continues to cause this kind of grief they have all been through similar problems but do not behave in this way , im sorry to say his girlfriend is of similar character and I think they both rub each other the wrong way and then join together when its someone else , I m at a loss now as to what I can do at the moment I have cut ties with him taken him off my social web page I have the others and my wife to think of , any advice would be greatly received and a final note I was told his final message to me was he appreciated the help I gave him in trying to get the wages he was owed when he broke his knee but when I couldn't get it I didn't put my hand in my pocket and help , that just summed it up for me

I can already tell you are beautiful by the way you talk. You are a very warming, concerned responsible person. I am 22 years old. I have modeled for 12 years, not so much anymore. I grew up in the industry where you have to be skinny and beautiful and still have energy and good breath. It does'nt work like that! I went through what sounds like the same thing you are. When I was 15 I was always grounded, not so good in school. When I talked to my old middle school counselor, she said that it sounds like eating was the only thing I was in control of. I was always grounded and my parents controled everything in my life. So, the only thing I could control was my eating, and I didnt. My friends too thought I was just trying to get attention, but I wasnt either. Its hard when you start to lose weight and you feel good because you can, but when you are the age you are, you need to be treating your body like a temple. I put myself in the hospital beacuse my organs and body got to sick and tired from just a cold. It really hurt my body in the long run, even now, and it hurt to see how I made my family feel. I now eat all day, healthy foods. And i am still tall and skinny! And you know, there is nothing better than to be skinny and people ask " how do you do it, oh my gosh!" And you get to just tell them the truth, you are happy, and healthy, and you eat healthy. They will really admire that. And let me tell you, it is SUCH a great feeling when you do things the right way. So please, do things the right way. Take care of yourself to little things in the near future wont hurt you as bad as they did me? Write me back if you need to, I would love to talk.
