Why do you suppose that when Jacob in Gen 32:24-30 looked upon God face to face, and Moses in Exd 3:6 hid his?

It was Jesus Christ as a man , the same with Abraham - Genesis 17:1 " And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect." Exodus 3:6- Moses hid his face, as if both ashamed and afraid to look upon God. The more we see of God, and his grace, and covenant love, the more cause we shall see to worship him with reverence and godly fear.
