Personally, I would get an iPhone. I despise Apple, but it is still going to be the next phone I get, simply because it is the best phone I could find for my needs. In your case, the apps that you can get for the iPhone would be very useful, and they do have a lot of games, etc. for it. I am getting mine for organizational purposes, and to merge all my current portable devices into one. Also, I don't know about plans where you are, but the company I will be with for my iPhone offers some decent plans for what I'd pay.
