Do you think Catholicism is losing followers by not keeping with the times?

It lost my best friend as a follower in any meaningful way, but then again, it's been around for twenty centuries -- I don't think it's going anywhere. Besides, in the US, the mainline (liberal) churches are losing adherents like flies and Evangelicals have been increasing -- conforming to the times might not be a winning idea.
