Can you freeze someone and thaw them out in a different time?

You are referring to Cryogenics & I don't personally know how someone could be frozen & brought back to life. What if their body had been ravaged by Cancer? When their body was thawed, wouldn't the Cancer still be present? I don't believe in Cryogenics because it raises some religious questions as well.
