How do you think we can reinforce the United States?

I think we need to cut taxes and get rid of some usless ones, cut government spending, increase funding to the military and reduce regulation throughout the country and give more power to the individual states. I think we need to inspire people and Americans of all parties that we can still be great once again by standing up for fundamental principles and ideas that our forefathers gave to us. I think we need to eliminate wasteful spending and abolish the too many failed social programs like welfare and believe in personal responsibility once again. I don't want to have to rely on the government to hold my hand through life. This is just a small chunk of my opinion. What's your stance -
