What would you do (relationship troubles)?

Hi! I have pretty much lost all hope on happiness right now. Well, here is my story.....I got married three years back to a man who never loved me but just used me for my money and to relocate to the US and then he now is slandering about my family and I. So, I been trying to divorce him and it should be final here in a few weeks. I have been talking to another guy (I feel no harm since it is just talking and my ex said I can do whatever I want and he has always been a cheater). Well, the other guy decided to cut off ties with me yesterday because I am not divorced yet. He says he will wait for me but I know it will take awhile because divorces are so time consuming. At any rate, what would you do? I mean do you really think he will wait for me?
