Do you *really* remember every bit of your labour?

I don't remember either one vividly but I will tell you that while I was in labour with my second I started recalling many details of the first labour that I had forgotten about. I think it's natures way of allowing women to have children again. If you remember every aweful detail of the first time you may never do it again.
