How can i distract spiders from going into my clothes, and chest of draws?

There are quite a lot of spiders in my room. I hoover them now and then, and try to stop them from coming. The thing is i have recently bought a chest of draws, and i want to know ways i can stop spiders from getting into my clothes. There are a few gaps which they could squeeze in, but i can't really fill them in.
